  The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the apex socio-cultural youth organisation of Igbo, has asked the President Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government to discontinue the trial of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, for the sake of peace and development in the South-East region. The President General of OYC, Igboayaka Igboayaka made the call on Thursday while addressing journalists at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
