New housing development proposed in Bethel Park

A 65-unit townhouse development has been proposed in Bethel Park. Penn Cove Group Capital would like to develop the properties off of Hamilton and Baptist roads in what is proposed as The Enclave at Cool Springs. It is unclear how big the homes would be or how much they may cost. Multiple calls to the developer were not returned. An official responded via text to decline comment until preliminary/final subdivisions and related plans were voted on at the June 14 council meeting. Borough interim municipal planner Jeffrey Winkle said he does anticipate the project being approved. “The development overall complies with the code,” Winkle said. “They need to request from municipal council a few modifications from the ordinances.”
