After voting unanimously to table the payment of all general fund bills at its Dec. 8 meeting, Warren City Council reversed its decision Tuesday night and voted to remove the bills from the table and pay all of them in full. The decision was unanimous.
The decision to delay bill payment was in response to the administrationâs refusal to pay invoices from Plunkett Cooney law firm, the city councilâs special legal counsel. The city council approved payment of those bills last month, but as of Dec. 8 they had not been paid.
