believe that s not credible or consistent with what this president has done in the past. why should one hour tonight be more believable than how the president has governed? let s look at how he s governed. the criminal justice reform legislation that was passed, that was something the white house led that the president led that really is making significant producing significant results for so many communities and for those individuals. that s a big example of a bipartisan win. on opioids where there s been additional funding for the opioids crisis. on human trafficking where we passed legislation like the act that both republicans and democrats have come together. we have seen bipartisan solutions. and those smaller policy issues there have been. when it comes to immigration and looking at a bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform, that s much bigger. i think you d agree. it is one of the hardest things to tackle and the president came forward with a good faith proposal t
