Randolph BOE approves calendar | News, Sports, Jobs

bbinns@theintermountain.com ELKINS The Randolph County Board of Education voted this week to continue the current blended learning model through the month of January. The approved calendar for January 2021 will continue to follow a two-day per week schedule for students. Students with last names ending with the letters A-L will attend school on Jan. 4, 5, 11, 12, 19, 20, 26 and 27. Students with last names ending with letters M-Z will attend school Jan. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. The approved calendar can be accessed by the public by visiting the Randolph County Schools’ website or Facebook page. The January calendar was approved in a 4-1 vote at Tuesday’s evening’s BOE meeting. Voting to approve the proposal from Superintendent Debbie Schmidlen were BOE President Lisa Wamsley, BOE Vice President Janie Newlon, and board members Rachel Anger and Melodee Price.
