A South Carolina couple was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to a scheme by using stolen mail to steal or attempt to steal more than a million dollars from multiple victims.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is encouraging anyone with unwanted medications they don't need any more to properly dispose of them this weekend.
According to a release from the DEA, xylazine is not an opioid, so narcan does not reverse its effects. This places users at a higher risk of suffering fatal drug poisoning.
