Joachim Son Forget tweets in name of outgoing US president while replacing his profile picture, user name with Trump’s. Twitter Saturday suspended the account of French lawmaker Joachim Son-Forget for impersonating US President Donald Trump.
Son-Forget replaced his profile picture and username with Trump s while tweeting in the name of the outgoing president after Twitter permanently suspended Trump s account, citing the risk of further incitement of violence.
Son-Forget s move resulted in suspension of his Twitter account.
Earlier, the French MP, representing French citizens in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in the National Assembly, had impersonated French President Emmanuel Macron s account.
