Center. Live were here at Uc Medical Center because thats where one of the victims is now recovering this morning. 41 year old emily frank is at last check listed in serious condition here. Emily and her dad Stephen Frank were hit by a metro bus while crossing in a crosswalk in hyde park last night around 7 30. It happened right at the intersectin of erie and edwards road. Her dad died at the scene. He was 73 years old the driver of the cincinnati metro bus was 57 year old tyrone patrick. No passengers were on the bus on at the time. And no one else got hurt. Cincnnati police say this is an ongoing investigation. Live metro says patrick has been a driver for 10 years. He was briefly taken tot he hospital after the crash for shock. Police say speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash. Reporter he delivered a quarantine notice to the family members who were staying with duncan. Those people are part of a group of 48 being checked daily for signs of ebola. Theyre being watched for 21 days. The incubation period for the fatal disease. And no one has gotten sick yet. Wednesday night, the community paused to remember duncan, who died eight days after testing positive for ebola. He was originally sent home from the hospital, despite telling a nurse he had been in liberia. The Texas Health Department says it is considering investigating texas presbyterian hospital, and its handling of duncans care. A second storm on friday could bring up to another foot of snow in the area. Hundreds of thousands cross the mid west have no power after a serious snow and ice storm knocked down industries. State officials are struggling to cope with the winter. Id like to pack up and move somewhere. Everywhere will snow. Even a warm state. Across the country its hard to get a break from the bad weather. In pennsylvania, preparedness for a winter wallop means shelters are stocked up with supplies.
