Communist candidate best valued for presidential elections in Chile
25 de mayo de 2021, 0:15Santiago, Chile, May 25 (Prensa Latina) Communist Party candidate Daniel Jadue appears in Chile as the best valued by the people prior to the presidential elections in November. This is reflected in a Plaza Publica poll, carried out by the Cadem consulting firm, which places Jadue with 20 percent of vote intentions, followed by Joaquin Lavin, from the right-wing Independent Democratic Union (UDI), with 16 points.
With a notable increase in the polls appears Senate President Yasna Provoste, from the Christian Democracy party, who is not among the candidates for the presidency, with 13 percent of vote intentions, while the former president of BancoEstado, Sebastian Sichel, has 11 percent.
