Former Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Hendrick Ekstein will be pondering his next move after suffering relegation from the Premyer Liqa with FK Sabail.
The club founded in 2016 finished rock-bottom of the eight-team division after three consecutive defeats left them on 24 points after 28 games and two points off Qabala and Keshla - who finished seventh and sixth respectively.
On Wednesday evening, the 30-year-old played the full 90 minutes but was unable to inspire his side to safety as they lost 1-0 at home to Sumgayit PFC.
And with his contract expiring at the end of next month, it s unlikely that he ll extend his stay with the club he joined in January after a brief stint with domestic rivals Sabah.
