The Peter Shalulile fairytale continued after the Mamelodi Sundowns striker was named Footballer of the Season and DStv Premiership Player’s Player of the Season at the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Awards on Sunday night.
It was a great night for the gangling striker as the Footballer of the season award was accompanied by a R250 000 cheque, while the Player’s Player of the Season accolade earned him R200 000.

Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has confirmed the departure of Rushine De Reuck to join Mamelodi Sundowns.
The current Premiership Defender of the Season has been one of the key figures for the Team of Choice and has now earned his big move to one of the PSL s big three.
De Reuck had been touted as a prospective signing for both Sundowns and Orlando Pirates towards the end of last season but has finally penned a deal with the reigning treble champions.
This website understands that De Reuck will start training with Masandawana on Monday after leaving Maritzburg United on Thursday, with Kadodia confirming the move to this website.
