The identity of the humanitarian worker gunned down by Nigerian Army personnel in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State has been revealed. SaharaReporters had on Thursday evening reported that a soldier attached to the Special Forces of the 25 Task Force (TF) Brigade in the remote town of Damboa, Borno State went wild, killing an unarmed civilian, his fellow soldier and injuring many others. It had been reported that the soldier opened fire, resulting in the killing of at least one female humanitarian aid worker and he also injured a United Nations pilot.
