Kolcraft reannounces inclined sleeper accessory recall Consumers urged to act now to prevent risk of suffocation 05/17/2021 Photo source: CPSCKolcraft Enterprises of Chicago, Ill., is reannouncing its earlier recall of about 51,000 inclined sleeper accessories included with Kolcraft Cuddle ‘n Care 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleepers and Preferred Position 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleepers Infant fatalities have been reported with other manufacturers’ inclined sleep products, after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side, or under other circumstances. No incidents or injuries have been reported involving the Kolcraft product. This recall involves the inclined sleeper accessory sold with the Kolcraft Cuddle ‘n Care 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleeper (model number starting with KB063) and the Kolcraft Preferred Position 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline Sleeper (model number starting with KB061).

Customers who own any of the seven affected models are urged to contact Kidde for a free replacement. The affected models are series 2040, 2050, 2060 and 2070. They were sold from May 2019 through September 2020 at Walmart, The Home Depot and other retailers. The recalled alarms have the Trusense logo or “AMBER=FAULT” printed on them.
