A pair of exhibitions with a focus on screen printing, community, human migration and displacement will open in the De Pree Art Center and Gallery at Hope College on Thursday, Jan. 26.
The De Pree Art Center and Gallery is presenting an exhibition by artist Kim Faler titled “Wasting Time” from Thursday, Oct. 6, through Wednesday, Nov. 2.
The world premieres of three new works commissioned by the Hope College Patrons for the Arts will be performed by multiple Hope College music ensembles on Friday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
Hope College Theatre will host award-winning playwright, actor and solo-performance artist Rohina Malik for two presentations on Monday and Tuesday, April 4 and 5, that explore the experience of Muslim women.
The De Pree Art Center and Gallery at Hope College will be hosting the exhibition “On Bare Foot,” featuring work by new faculty members Leekyung Kang, Emily Mayo and Jason Contangelo, from Thursday, March 3, through Wednesday, March 30.
