A cold front is marching southeastward and is expected to arrive in Acadiana later this Thursday evening. We'll see a thin line of showers and storms rolling in
After a seasonably cool start Tuesday, expect a warming trend for Acadiana through mid-week, followed by a cool front Thursday that will bring our temperatures temporarily back to a January reality.
Acadiana's weather will stay on a roll into the weekend but by Sunday morning, our next weather-maker will arrive in the form of scattered showers and a few thunderstorms.
Once again a hard freeze warning is in effect for Acadiana through Sunday morning, and with clear skies accompanied by light winds, a moderate to heavy frost is expected by morning.
Acadiana's weather pattern will return to an unsettled, wet and occasionally stormy period starting Thursday afternoon and likely continuing through Saturday now.
