Accordino Becomes First Academic 1st Team All-America®, Joins Iregui as Academic All-Americans

AUSTIN, Texas – The Westminster College men's soccer team tied a program-record with two student-athletes earning College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America® as senior defender Sam Accordino (Canfield, OH/Canfield) and graduate student forward Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA/Charles Wright Academy) both earned the distinguished honor for their performances on the field and in the classroom for the second-straight year. Accordino earned First Team honors, the first-ever in program history.

Pre-health students volunteer at Mid Coast vaccine clinic – The Bowdoin Orient

lending a hand: Twelve students from the Pre-Health Society and Bowdoin Underrepresented in Medical Professions (BUMP) have dedicated their time to helping with Mid Coast Hospital s vaccine rollout at the Brunswick Recreation Center, working both on-site and behind the scenes. As vaccinations became available to all Maine residents over the age of 16, including Bowdoin community members, students from the Pre-Health Society and Bowdoin Underrepresented in Medical Professions (BUMP) have teamed up to contribute to the historic rollout by volunteering at Mid Coast Hospital’s Brunswick Recreation Center vaccine clinic.
