we ve seen other incidents around texas. just this morning, i had to issue a news release calling on the fbi to investigate hate vandalism at a mosque in louisville, kentucky. so these things are occurring on a daily basis, and that s why we re asking our nation s leaders to push back against this rising tide of islamophobia. it came up in the pre-debate i don t know what they call it the debate last night, not the main stage, but the earlier debate. let me play an exchange with bobby jindal and lindsey graham over religious discrimination. let s listen. i guess we don t have it, but bobby jindal was saying that he doesn t think that a 14-year-old should be arrested for bringing a clock to school. but he said the biggest discrimination is against christians who believe in traditional forms of marriage. lindsey graham said young men from the middle east are different from kim davis, and we ve got to understand that. i mean, this is the same bobby jindal who said there were
correct. for a lot of folks in the republican party and perhaps america that s something to reckon with. i want to get to carly fiorina, as well. it is not only trump here although he s making his mark. she is moving up in the polls. she s done that as many pointed out despite being held off the man club, the old boys debate and yet somehow punching through anyway and cuts against convention aal wisdom. there s one thing it does play into conventional wisdom. she had a great debate performance and that made a difference. even at the pre-debate. she got so much coverage for it. she actually made it into the main debate. and that s explain what you mean by that. with some of the answers, she was absolutely clips of her debate brought up into the prime time debate and she will probably now be in the next debate in september. but what s really interesting, she has a great story but she is a product of the media now. all the media hype. that s changed the numbers. people
unsurprisingly to improvement among women. he and president obama are now tied in that key voting group. erasing the president s once considerable lead. and that i mean a couple weeks ago, a couple months ago, mid-september, he was up by 18 points. the president, that gap gone. that s huge for the romney campaign. several pundits after the 47% comment said game over. he is toast. and you just see, what a matter of couple weeks can do. election is actually four weeks from today. but he improved his status and pretty much everything from september from taxes, medicare, jobs, women. and the, the jobs including the question, who could handle the economy better. that could be the defining area. that s everyone s number one issue. sliding up in that arena that bodes very, very well. but i think we have to wait until wednesday to get the true breadth of, you know, the pre-debate, the debate, and numbers, post job report numbers to come out. i think that will be flushed
