Shivraj Singh Chouhan: Not enough vaccines, May 1 campaign on hold in MP | Bhopal News

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan INDORE/BHOPAL: The much awaited phase-III of the Covid vaccination drive, to cover the 18-44 age group, has been put on hold because there aren’t enough vaccines to go around. Around 10.15pm on Thursday, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted: “I appeal to everyone, have patience. Do not panic. Madhya Pradesh is likely to get vaccines by May 3. As soon as it arrives, we will start vaccinating youngsters for free.” This is why the planned vaccination campaign cannot start on May 1, the CM added. “We understand that there is a limit to production capacity. As and when vaccines come, we will start vaccinating the young,” he tweeted and told a group of doctors during a virtual discussion.
