Arbaaz is one of the 14 accused to be charge-sheeted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Cordelia cruise drugs bust case. The NCB said it had recovered two grams of narcotics substance from his shoes before he was held boarding the cruise at the International Terminal, Mumbai Port.
NCP leader Nawab Malik tweeted pointers from Aryan Khan’s bail order copy and said that the high court’s order “proves” that the case was of “kidnapping and ransom”.
Aryan Khan's bail plea was rejected by the special court on October 20 in the case following which his judicial custody in the matter got extended till October 30. Khan approached the Bombay High Court for an urgent bail hearing.
In a breather to Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, the Bombay High Court on Thursday granted him bail in the Cordelia Cruise drugs case. The HC also ordered to release on bail other accused - Arbaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were also arrested on October 2 from city's port terminal.
