NEW DELHI: Though it appears that a tussle is going on between Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh and state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, in reality, it might be a war between the former and Nehru-Gandhi scions Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Whoever wins is unlikely to hold significance as in the end the Congress apparently would stand to lose.
Congress insiders said that with party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi not keeping good health, her children Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi and organisation’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are calling the shots.

Govt refuses to concede to Opposition demand of holding debate on farmers’ agitation
For the third day in a row, both Houses of Parliament could barely do any business, with the government refusing to concede to the Opposition’s demand of holding a debate on the farmers’ agitation.
Each House managed to pass one bill each amidst din. The Lok Sabha passed the National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Bill and the Rajya Sabha cleared the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2021.
