INDORE: IIM-Indore will take Indore’s Swachh lessons to Ayodhya to elevate it to the standards as an international spiritual tourism destination.
IIM-I and Municipal Corporation of Ayodhya (MCA) have entered into a three-year agreement to chalk out an action plan for the civic body to replicate the Indore model of cleanliness. Indore has topped the Swachh Survekshan four years in a row, largely by creating a culture of cleanliness among its people.
The management institute will also help draft a plan for implementation of information, education and communication (IEC) as per the Swachh Bharat Mission programme. The institute will also assist in organizing training and capacity building for Ayodhya civic employees.
