The fourth quarter awards by the foundation wrap up a year of significant milestones for the foundation, according to WRHCF Executive Director Jeff Rotert.
“They get to know the students and their personalities and are able to advocate for the students when the student might not be able to advocate for themselves."
The proposed 2023 property tax levy is a 5.46% increase from that of the previous year, down from the 14% "not to exceed" preliminary 2023 levy set earlier this year.
This year, the Auxiliary received 836 coloring sheets from students in kindergarten through third grade and 86 essays from students in fourth and fifth grade, from Hills-Beaver Creek, Fulda, Worthington Christian, St. Mary's School, the Intermediate School and Prairie Elementary.
