Hyderabad: Post-Covid sequelae cases are increasing in the city, with several people who had contracted Covid in April and May 2020 coming back to pulmonologists.
Covid sequelae are referred to as acute issues arising from a chronic ailment. The customary presenting complaint of Covid sequelae cases is that they used to have no respiratory problem prior to developing Covid, but even months after recovery, having tested negative and discharged, they continue to have persistent dry cough and breathlessness.
