The power department in Noida is set to enhance the capacities of existing substations in sectors 67 and 17 by June to meet the anticipated demand during the peak season. This includes ramping up transformer capacities and constructing new substations for better distribution of supply. Tenders for the substations in Sector 17 will be issued by the end of May, with work expected to start in June and be completed by the end of June. The Sector 115 substation is also undergoing construction and is projected to be ready by December 2024, benefiting not only Sector 115 but also neighboring areas.
