May 01, 2021 LAND Transportation Office (LTO)-Central Visayas will soon integrate its driving course to the National Certificate (NC) courses of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda).
This is to give the public more options in getting their driver s license without spending more.
LTO-Central Visayas Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec said a memorandum of agreement (MOA) has been signed last March 12 to harmonize the driver s training, education, and transformation of both agencies.

March 04, 2021 THE Land Transportation Office (LTO)-Central Visayas opened additional slots for the Theoretical Driving Course in its Driver’s Education Center (DEC).
From five students per week, LTO added 20 more slots, which means that one Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) can now accommodate a total of 25 students.
LTO 7 is also working with LTO Central Office to secure regular funding for the DEC so that it can offer not only the TDC but also the Practical Driving Course (PDC).
