In a heartwarming gesture, a 70-year-old woman from Mumbai donated one of her kidneys to her 43-year-old daughter-in-law. The rare incident received a lot of attention on social media after Maharashtra Pradesh Congress General Secretary Sachin Sawant tweeted about it. The surgery was successful, and both are recovering well.
"Amisha is like a daughter to me, and a mother can go to any lengths to save her child's life," said Prabha, the senior citizen from Kandivali who turned out to be a perfect match for daughter-in-law Amisha.
