California Privacy Protection Agency CPPA announced rulemaking package to implement California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 CCPA as amended by California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 CPRA, was approved by California Office of Administrative Law OAL.
CPPA draft proposed CCPA Regulations and draft initial statement of reasons. Under the proposed regulations, a business’s collection, use, retention and sharing of personal information should be consistent with what a consumer would expect when the information was collected.
