Part of the relatively new line of CRF two-wheelers introduced by Honda back in 2000 as a replacement for the XR family, the small dual-sport machines gets an increase in displacement of 36cc, making the powerplant a 286cc unit working together with a six-speed transmission.
Additionally, suspension travel has been increased, and so has ground clearance, while the overall weight of the bike dropped by 11 lbs (5 kg). Visually, the two-wheeler got inspired by the CRF Performance line and adopted some of the styling elements seen elsewhere in the range.
As for the CRF300L Rally, this version packs a larger fuel tank than the standard CRF300L and comes with hand guards and frame-mounted windscreen. It too is lighter than before, coming in 9 lbs (4 kg) less than the model it replaces, and benefits from the engine displacement increase as well.
