If we had to give credit, it was probably Mark Healey who first brought attention to the beefy, but short, left that comes off California’s most famous big wave. But others have worked at making it a wave we watch, too. And this week, while his dad blew minds on the right, John Mel started to open them on the left, as he reportedly caught numerous barrels on the not-so-overhyped section near Half Moon Bay. Powerlines Productions was on hand to capture the glory.
