PG&E is notifying customers that it might have to turn off power in targeted areas throughout the county due to windy forecasts from Thursday to Sunday.
The potential shutoff is currently expected to affect approximately 4,200 customers across eight counties and tribal communities including Lake County with 186 customers and 18 Medical Baseline customers. Neighboring Napa County has few potential impacts with only seven customers in the scope of the event. According to a PG&E spokesperson, these areas are near or on Morgan Valley Road and Spring Valley including Old and New Long Valley Roads.
