homes, seeing what kind of conditions and cleanup they have to do, but that power issue and that water issue of major concern throughout the state right now. poppy? ed lavandera, thank you for being there and bringing us those pictures. we ll get back to you shortly. we are getting new images from key largo and some of the keys and they re stunning, john. they sure are, poppy. putting that number on the screen, 7 million customers without power. that doesn t tell the story. the southeast, there are 15 million human beings without power right now and that includes not just florida but georgia, alabama, the carolinas, as this storm has moved up the coast. that s the power story. the destruction story really in the florida keys, bill rode out the storm in key largo and now is on a boat heading south giving us just an amazing perspective of the scene there. bill, what are you seeing? hey, john. yeah, we finally made it down here to lower matakumbay key,
has been a vocal critic of the obama administration. we have seen him in ads with john mccain, they have a political relationship. how have the allegations effected the fact he supports at all. a lot of viewers remember him from build the damn fence ad by sarah palin. it is hard to get a feel for how supporters are reacting. story broke late friday, and it broke over the weekend, and today is a holiday, so it s hard to get a real feel. his campaign is insisting supporters have overwhelmed him with their, you know, support and backing and encouragement. and the big story here is not that this man is gay, it is the fact he was in a relationship with an immigrant who he allegedly threatened to deport if that relationship made its way to the press, now that it has. it is an abuse of power story. prior to all of this happening, dan, have you avoided
