This partnership will lead to an extensive exchange of knowledge and would be a stepping stone towards India becoming a full member of IEA, a power ministry statement said. The 19th meeting of Joint Steering Committee (JSC) on India Bangladesh cooperation in power sector held  in Hotel Intercontinental  Bangladesh side led by Power Division Secretary Md Habibur Rahman and Indian side by Power Secretary Sanjiv Nandan Sahai during the Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting on power sector corporation. It was preceded by Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting on power sector corporation held at the same venue two days back.
