Senior Journalist Sunil Madava Premathilaka passed away on Wednesday (Feb. 23) night. He was 78-years-old. Premathilaka was also an author and translator. He was one of the founding journalists of the Divaina newspaper. He was recently awarded the ‘Kalabhushana’ State Award. He is the son of Meemana Premathilaka. He leaves his wife and son.
