Environmental charity Groundwork North Wales are hosting free family friendly events this half-term and want the local community to join in. The events are open to all and will take place at Minera Lead Mines, Plas Power Nature Reserve, Tanyfron and Stryt Las Nature Reserve, in Johnstown, and all events are nature based. The free events across Wrexham are: • Family Nature Trail, Minera Lead Mines, June 3, from 2pm-4pm • Litter Pick Stryt Las Nature Reserve, Johnstown, June 3, from 2pm-4pm • Bio Blitz - Plas Power Nature Reserve, Tanyfron, June 4, from 2pm-4pm Groundwork North Wales are working with local conservation charity Wild Ground on the litter pick at Stryt Las and with the Xplore Science and Discovery centre for the Bio Blitz at the Plas Power Nature Reserve in Tanyfron.
