@Ninfan it s not a matter of being cheap. We are considered in a State Of Ohio Internet Desert. Maximum possible land based speed is through DSL from Frontier and because we are more than 4 miles away from our central station, and some sort of either local politics or Frontier bookkeeping keeps us from having a DSL station 2.5 miles away, so our max speed per household is 1.6 Mb/s in 400 KB/s out. BTW that costs $40 a month (minus 5 for bundling with Dish Network)
I was so sick of it, I got Visible Wireless for $25 a month and got Nintendo compatible speeds of 5Mb/s in, 5 MB/s out. with low enough ping to play online.
