Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (AP transco) has taken a major initiative by connecting the SembCorp Energy India Ltd (SEIL) thermal power plant evacuation line directly to the AP state grid. This new transmission line will help save more than 365 crore per year. The transmission line work undertaken by AP transco paved the way for huge savings directly to the discoms and indirectly to the electricity consumers in the state.
