cnn s powe le sandoval takes a look at how long island is doing. we ve had more surveillance out there and lifeguards. reporter: five suspected shark attacks in the last 24 hours. it s their territory and we re invading their territory. reporter: the incidents happened at five different locations on long island beaches. on july 3rd, police say a 15-year-old girl was bitten while swimming at robert moses state park. a 15-year-old boy says he was bit atticus mitt beach. my first reaction when the shark grabbed my foot was to immediately get out of the water and get help. reporter: on july 4th, three more is incidents, this time all involving adults at three sep separate locations. all had non-life-threatening injuries. this is video from robert moses
