The Poudre River Whitewater Park and the river has been coated in ashes with sediments from the Wildfire due to the downpour.

The site located adjacent to Eastman Park includes a mile of river dedicated to tubing, canoeing and kayaking with launch and take-out areas. Also included is a river overlook that provides picnic and water access, views of the river and Longs Peak, a soft-surface trail, road improvements and an additional 160 parking spaces.
