The 39th annual Historic Homes Tour is getting ready to open the doors to some of the history of Fort Collins. The tour is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 and will feature five iconic homes and two city services buildings that guests can explore.
The Poudre Landmarks Foundation has partnered with the Bohemian Foundation to host a performance by Liz Barnez at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at the historic 1883 Water Works, 2005 N. Overland Trail, Fort Collins.
A new textiles exhibit at The Avery House, “Garment Guts: The Inner Workings of Clothes,” takes a peek under the hems of dresses and inside the linings of jackets to learn how historic clothing was made and the history behind the different stitches and sewing techniques.
