POUCE COUPE, B.C. – Pouce Coupe Fire and Rescue responded to a grass fire on Highway 2 Wednesday.
The PCFR was called out to the fire around 3:30 p.m.
While en route to the fire, the organisation says members were informed that a vehicle was also involved in the fire.
Command, engine 1 and 2, tender, and nine crew members responded to the fire and were on scene for approximately two and a half hours.

POUCE COUPE, B.C. – Pouce Coupe Fire and Rescue responded to a grass fire that burned around 20 hectares Thursday on 204 Road.
The volunteer fire department sent nine members with two engines, a water tender, and a command unit. Once on scene, Toms Lake Fire Department was called in to assist, bringing their wildland unit and two members.
