In-person networking events making a comeback Manassas Mall Get ready to shake hands again. The Prince William Chamber of Commerce will hold two in-person events this month the first since the coronavirus pandemic began 14 months ago. Called Tailgate Tuesdays, the chamber will serve coffee to business owners who gather for the first event tomorrow, May 11, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., outside Uptown Alley at Manassas Mall, located at 8300 Sudley Road. The chamber writes: Tailgate Tuesday: A Coffee Social is an opportunity for IN PERSON Networking, an outdoor pop-up to ease back into in-person networking. FredNats to host season-opener viewing party inside stadium The Fredericksburg Nationals will play their very first game on May 4 against the Hillcats in Lynchburg. It’s an away game, so the FredNats will host a viewing party inside of its newly built, $30 million stadium, located just off Carl D. Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg’s Central Park. The team s first game will be May 4, and the Fredericksburg Nationals will play the first home game at the New Fredericksburg Ballpark on May 11. The Fredericksburg Nationals are a Minor League Baseball team, the Low-A affiliate of the nearby Washington Nationals. The team was originally scheduled to begin play in the spring of 2020, but the 2020 Minor League Baseball season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
