WILMINGTON The Walk of Remembrance is one of our major projects brought into being September 2019 when American Legion Post 10 celebrated its 100th anniversary. Just outside the Post 10 s front entrance, beautifully landscaped, with the goal of honoring Post Veterans, and any other Vets wishing to participate.
The Walk contains about 500 bricks, however, only about 110 have been engraved with the Vets information. The Post urges the community to give consideration of purchasing a brick for yourself and any other Veterans you know and replace one of those blanks.
This Walk will undoubtedly be a memorial to Veterans as long as Post 10 exists. So become a part of history.
