Alberta’s government is investing more than $4 million into dual credit grants to support young Albertans as they transition into post-secondary, trades or the workplace.
If passed, Budget 2024 will create 3,200 additional apprenticeship seats across the province to support industry demand for skilled workers and Alberta’s economic growth.
The province announced how it plans to bolster post-secondary education for foreign students, including putting a two-year freeze on all new international student applications.
