On Tuesday 5 December, Post, RTL, Cactus and CFL officially launched LuxID, their new digital identity solution. Marco van Maris, chairman of the economic interest group behind the project, outlined the main benefits for client companies and end-users of the solution. He also announced that the Automobile Club du Luxembourg and Luxair would soon be adopting the solution.
On 21 November, Spuerkeess, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, BGL BNP Paribas, Banque Raiffeisen, Post Luxembourg and ING Luxembourg announced that they had joined forces to create a joint network of ATMs to be deployed throughout the country under a new brand name: Bancomat.
New instant messenger service “Luxchat” became available to businesses as well as the general public at the Luxembourg Internet Days event in November. The service has enormous commercial potential, say its creators Delano’s sister publication Paperjam wanted to find out more.
