EVANSVILLE, Ind. A crash on Interstate 64 Friday night resulted in the death of an Evansville mother.  The five children she was traveling with were taken to medical facilities for treatment of injuries from the accident.  An ongoing investigation by Indiana State Police determined that Whitney Steverson, 32, of Evansville, was driving eastbound in the right lane of I-64 near Mile Marker No. 3 when she swerved into the passing lane and toward the median to avoid rear-ending another vehicle. Steverson swerved again to avoid hitting the median and overcorrected. Her car crossed both eastbound lanes again, leaving the road and rolling until it stopped on its side. Steverson was pronounced dead at the scene.
