Posco, ADNOC to produce blue hydrogen in Gwangyang

Posco Group and the United Arab Emirates' Abu Dhabi National Oil Company will collaborate on blue hydrogen production facilities in Gwangyang, South Jeolla Province, Posco International said Wednesday. Posco International, Posco Holdings and ADNOC signed a three-way strategic collaboration agreement at the UAE energy group’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Hyundai orders more motor cores from Posco

South Korea's principal steel group has received another major order from Hyundai to supply stators and rotors for motor cores. The Posco components will help power mainly electric cars built in the European plants of Hyundai and Kia.

NPS ups stake in Samsung Electro-Mechanics, sells Kakao in Q4

The National Pension Service, the world’s third-largest pension fund managing assets of around 1,000 trillion won ($757 billion), expanded its holdings in electronic parts manufacturer Samsung Electro-Mechanics, but dumped shares of IT giant Kakao in the September-December period of 2023. The fund owns a 5 percent or greater stake in each of 283 listed companies here as of Wednesday, according to market tracker.
