The Court of Évora has sentenced the man accused of the murder of a PSP agent who intervened in a situation of domestic violence in the city at the end of last.

The Court of Setúbal sentenced, on 24 May, the young man accused of the murder of an elderly couple in Santo André, municipality of Santiago do Cacém, to the maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
The defendant, now 18, was found guilty of two counts of murder, one qualified and the other simple, for the murder of his great-uncle and aunt, Guilherme Santos and Eduarda Fernandes, on 1 May last year, to appropriate their vehicle and some money from the victims.
In addition to the two murder crimes, the court also proved that the defendant committed a crime of desecration of a corpse and another crime of driving without a license.
