THE hours when older people can use their bus passes for free journeys are being extended to support travel to and from Covid-19 vaccinations. From Monday, holders of an Older Person s Bus Pass will be able to use their pass all day. It means elderly people will not have to pay to travel to early morning vaccination appointments and can also choose to do shopping at quieter times of the day. Holders of a Disabled Person’s Bus Pass are already able to use them 24 hours a day. Brighton and Hove City Council s bus pass extension will continue until the end of half term next month on February 20, when schools are due to reopen.
