I was able to see the building from my kitchen window. When you first of all were made aware of this Emergency Situation Taking place, talk us through what you heard, and what initially use all . I initially heard the siren at about 1am this morning and saw the blue lights flashing. Looked out the window and saw people beginning to gather outside and then i noticed that there was some smoke coming from Grenfell Tower and went outside
And the fire broke out in the early hours of this morning between 12 and one oclock. The first call to the Metropolitan Police was at 1 15am. The blaze, you can see now there are no flames this stage, just smoke, and you can see the damage done to the building.
