Reports yesterday quoted Johnson saying he would be tempted by an offer for City. This may be true, however with Richard Naylor out for six weeks with his knee problem Town are certainly not going to sell a striker.

Supporters looking to get tickets via the ballot are going to get more tickets than they imagined. The club have announced that just 4,500 people have entered themselves for the lottery and that could see tickets allocated for every other game. Supporters can still register for the ballot up til September 23rd, although you ll have to register for memebership of either Portman Plus or Blues Crew by September 8th.

There will be 18,000 season ticket holders at Portman Road next season the club have announced this afternoon. Originally they were going to cap this at 16,000, but the sheer numbers of applicants have pushed this figure up. Existing season ticket holders will get their application forms when the delayed forms arrive whilst new ticket holders have two options. Members of last season s Portman Plus and Blues Crew will be second in the queue for tickets, although Blues Crew members can only apply if their application is accompanied by a qualifying adult. The remaining tickets will go to a ballot of everyone else. Those wishing to take part should send an SAE to the club for their application form. No dates are being mentioned as yet so presumably it s get your application for an application in as soon as possible, fill in the form and then get it straight back. The club will also be running a priority scheme for the 1 -2,000 tickets remaining for individual matches.

Club Announce UEFA Priority Friday, 25th May 2001 20:21 Town have announced the priority scheme for next season s UEFA Cup games. Home game allocation will be the same as for the FA and Worthington Cup games. 1 Season ticket holders with cup vouchers get their seats automatically. 2 Season ticket holders without cup vouchers scheme will be able to buy their regular seat for a specified period before it is released for sale.
